I am confused...from what I read the T2LT antenna performs very well and seems to be reccomended.
So I think that maybe the way to go unless advised otherwise? Does the homebrew Gainmaster (HORIZONTAL) or a Di-Pole perform better, calculated/measured performance gains?
I will probably want to mount it horizonal as I want max gains for DX and lower QRM.
If I mount a T2LT horizontal, how directional will it be? Does it need to be mounted in direction for optimum performance?
If mounted sloped or V how does this perform? Directional? Better radiation pattern? Angles?
Basically I will want to mount it really high set it and leave it. If it can be sloped with no adverse affects I will slope it, if not I will mount it perfectly horizontal, between masts.
For connecting the Antenna to the Radio, can I link serveral lengths of coax using conectors, does it need to be measured lengths?
Let me know what you think, I know this is subect is beat out daily but I don't fully understand the theory so just would like the advice for DX antenna setup, hence why I believe horizontal would be best?
Thanks for taking the time to read and reply.
