anyone know of or have a manual / circuit diagram for a ham international big puncher microphone please ?
Thus far all the info I have read online suggests that either the wire inside the mic is wired incorrectly, or Google
and AI is smoking crack!
On the one I have on the bench in front of me:
PTT seems to be across yellow and black (validated with a multimeter)
Audio hot is across red and shield (validated with a scope) - google / AI think that is PTT
I have no valid data on white - AI thinks this is audio hot - it isnt - i checked with the scope
I have no valid data on blue and can see nothing that it does
curiously too - if I short black and shield together and then look on the Output of the scope,
I see 49-52 Hz !!! Why curiously? - well neither the mic or meter are wired to the mains !!!
theyre both running on PP3 batteries!
Anyone with hands on experience of this mic please ?
