Re: gp320 password
Open an archive codeplug and write it over the top of the existing codeplug... Assuming you have the right CPS version and the codeplug has not been set to 'read only' this will work.
If that fails you need to read the RAM from the radio and 'find' the password.

I take it you tried the obvious?

Do you get unlimited attempts? If so then it's scary the amount of four digit passwords that fall in the range of 1940-2000

Re: gp320 password
The password is not limited to numeric, it can be alpha numeric and a maximum of 8 characters. Yes you get unlimited attempts, but after each wrong entry the connection between the radio and PC drops. The radio needs to be read every time you get the password wrong- which can take 2-3 minutes if they are heavily programmed.
All you need to do is find the codeplug in the archive folder (the exact one I have told you). Connect the radio to the PC and write it.

Re: gp320 password
What are the errors?
It could be a case that your Firmware is too old (on the radio itself) and the CPS will not write the newer firmware codeplug to your radio- as the radio does not have a new enough codeplug version. If this is the case you need to either flash the radio to a newer FW version, or, use an older CPS.
If you have never flashed a Motorola radio before, approach with caution- it is far too easy to turn your radio into a paper weight (and then cost £100 to repair)! Use the PROPER kit, or, go to a dealer and get them to do it (some will, some wont).
Without being hands on with the radio itself its hard to work out the exact problem, but my money would be on the the codeplug being too old on the radio to accept a newer codeplug.
