I think the moral here is that starting off a thread by posing a leading and polarising question may not necessarily yield the result that is hoped for.

The moral of the story for me is if your attitude doesn't drastically change then it might not yield the best results for you. Think about it.
The man who cut the cable off his hoover and used it to make a choke balun. A good performing antenna beats a clean carpet :D
