After using this radio for a few months i wouldn't really recommend them. And here is why.
These radios are supposed to have had a mod done to the squelch before being sold. Mine was never modified. And the resistor that needs changing is just too darn small for me to do it myself.
The result is the squelch likes flick on & off if the received signal is overly loud. Shame as otherwise they are nice little radios
