I have acquired some Hytera PD785's but they are on firmware version A4.05. Despite a lot of time looking I haven't been able to find anywhere where I can get the Version4 CPS to programme them or a firmware update to bring them up to a newer version where the CPS is available. It seems that Hytera withdrew the early versions of the CPS and Firmware and all that is available now are the later versions.
Any one of the below firmware updates would allow me to bring the radios up to date:
V5.06.03.008
V5.06.04.002
V5.06.05.000
V5.06.05.002
V5.06.05.003
V5.06.05.400
V5.06.05.500
V5.06.06.000
Anyone suggest anywhere I can get this or the Version 4 CPS?
Thanks

Re: Hytera CPS or Firmware for early PD7 series
I have discovered that firmware V6.05.07.006 can also bring an early A4 firmware version PD785 and other PD*** radios up to V6 and from V6 you can go up to V9 and the latest firmware versions. V6.05.07.006 can be found on several online suppliers websites including TWComms for a UK/EU version.
To upgrade an early Hytera radio you have to put the radio into programming mode by pressing the PTT and Top Key button while turning the radio on. The top LED will flash and then go solid red.
Now use Firmware Update tool V6.05.07.006 to update the radio.
When it is updated turn the radio off and on and let in start up - not your codeplug may become corrupt when doing this update.
Turn your nor Version 6 radio off and then put it back into update mode (PTT + TK + Power On).
Now you can update to a higher firmware version including version 9 etc. Once above version 8 you no longer need to put the radio into update mode to do any further updates.
YOU DO THIS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. I'M JUST TELLING WHAT WORKED FOR ME.
