Well that's it - there's always a new and better radio or antenna. I don't know if it's a dopamine hit thing - ten miles further, the lovely shininess of this beautiful rig...but even if I don't rush out and buy, I certainly look.

I've just been told I'm getting a pay rise. Maybe I should celebrate with a little something....

Must...resist...getititis! πŸ˜†

Well, figuring it's best to sort out the antenna end first I bought a Sirio Performer 5000 PL, or so I thought. The shop gave me the body mount version. The invoice says PL so back to the shop I go to get the proper one next week. Luckily, I didn't open the packet so it's still saleable as new. Gratification postponed - gaaaahhhh!

Very good, I have the pl4000 version which is good.
I got mine off Dave The Collector.
The 5k is as good as a tank whip and you can drive around with the 5k on it.
I've got a few new twig's to try out but daft that I am I don't like opening the packaging, still got a Binatone power pole still in it's original packaging

I'm just frustrated that I brought the wrong one home. I was hoping to try it out over the weekend.
