Good afternoon
I have a couple of digital scanners, is there anyway of finding colour codes & slot numbers out for certain frequencies in my area?
Thanks

Re: DMR Colour Codes/Slot
What scanner(s) do you have, as they may well be able to display them as it finds them.
As an example, Unidens SDS100/200 caertainly can show them on search (Discovery), but I am not sure if the displays are set up as standard for that, or if its something I customised. By way of example, a couple of screenshots attached. The portrait shaped one is the screen customiser in the Uniden Sentinal software, where someone, possibly myself, set the display to show Slot (TDMA Slot) circled at the top, and Talkgroup (TGID) circled at the bottom. . The landscape screenshot is from Proscan and shows how something shows up on the scanner display when in Search or Discovery. In this case, Slot 2 is showing at the top, and 9 is showing against TGID at the bottom.
If its not a Uniden digital scanner, then it may have its own way of doing it.
You would also be able to see timeslot and Talkgroup on something like SDR Sharp.
