Clitheroe /Ribble Valley frequencies.

Post by Tetramoo64 »

Does anyone happen to know any interesting Radio frequencies in the Ribble Valley area. DMR or Analog?

I remember Clitheroe Shopwatch Scheme was around UHF 453.700'MHz a while back.
Think they use Hytera DMR now.

Thanks in advance.

There is nothing listed on RRUK for 453.700, of the 25 things listed from 165 - 470 within 3 miles of Clitheroe, 7 of them are Castle Cement. That comes up as Waddington. There is a possible for a shopwatch, it's not 453.700 and the antenna is on the town hall. Expand it to 5 miles and only a college and a bakery are added, plus possibly an open cast mine.

There is a lot of things out there that aren't on databases, there is a lot of stuff on the databases that are licenced to users but they don't use them. I spend most of the time searching rather than listening to what I've programmed.
