Please don't take this the wrong way, I don't know you, but I'm not sure I understand the relevance of your question, only because I've already looked up the public databases so I have to query why you are so keen to know the (effectively my personal as well) location.. it's slightly uncomfortable!
It's a small site, several multistorey (7 floors etc.) buildings covered by one repeater.
If I were potentially circumventing someone else's contract (the current repeater/radios supplier & maintainer) I wouldn't want to be identified either!
What you are potentially doing is circumventing the existing business agreement that the site has with the radio/repeater supplier. Which I should imagine explains your lack of desire to ask them for info.

Something smells with this as the info is quite easily obtainable from the radio dealer that already has the current site.,i was asking for the site because one i programme two way radios two i sell two way radios and three it may be someone i know and i would be able to obtain the info! maybe the ofcom link then or is that giving away too much information???? i have radios in over 17 shopwatches and also several companies all over the uk.i have also worked for apex which i still have contacts with.
Now, holding down transmit on one radio, I hear nothing on the other radio, but the second I release the PTT key, both radios open their squelch and hear slightly fuzzy silence (this is normal behaviour for the repeater, the repeater stays open/up for about a second after you finish transmitting). So I know that *something* is getting to the repeater to open it, and I can hear other traffic on the repeater, but for some reason, I cannot for the life of me get the repeater to open until I've released the PTT key.
Does anyone have any clue what this might be?
Many thanks
Ewan
It sounds like to me you are de-sensing the RX handset when transmitting with the other hence why you only hear the repeater carrier after releasing the TX PTT bear in mind the sets are only 5.5 Mhz apart
