Can anyone near the shopping centre confirm the users of the below. I heard them when in the car park for a few minutes last week.
453.0875 (146.2) just general chat, no callsigns. It could have been security.
Tobogganing was mentioned on 456.650 (204.5k) it could possibly have been the X Scape centre next to the shopping centre.
At the nearby IKEA I heard trollies etc being mentioned on 453.475, sorry I didn't get to read the tone in time.
I clocked Silverburn security on 453.775 (250.3k) yesterday.

The radio's I saw had LC displays, with the number 1 on them. I was only there a few minutes but didn't get a hit.

The buttons could be to change channels by direct entry. Also some radio's, like the ones in the Kyle Centre in Ayr, when the user keys up, it's programmed to show up on others radio's who is talking. A sort of 'Sel-Cal'. They can possibly, and don't quote me on it just in case, call up one particular radio user without going 'open channel'.
