Anyone know how to wire a 4 pin kpo power mike up to a 8 pin optima mk 3 radio ???

K-PO should be :
White = PTT
Red = Audio
Blue = RX
Screen
Optima Mic is :
1 - Audio
5 - PTT
7 - GND
Not sure about the Blue ( RX ) Poss 6.

Try and find an original icom h 31 mic sounds like a processed and power mic in one.

U want a cheap eBay chinisecopy of icom mic,we tried an original £40 icom ih31 mic which didn’t sound as good as the cheap Chinese one,believe me had loads of them.U won’t regret spending less than £10

I used I Chinese copy of the Icom HM36 8 pin plugs straight into the radio I had excellent audio reports and for £9 posted they are a bargain.I have used the KPO mics astatic tear drops plus many more but the cheap Icom was the best.

That’s the mic I meant a cheap Chinese version of the Icom hm36,sounds amazing on the Optimas,the original Icom version doesn’t sound half as good.I use the Kpo nm532 on my Mass dx5000,sounds so good and a great combination.
