yaesu ft-897d 8 pin modular to 4 pin mike converter/lead

ANYONE know where i can buy such a converter / lead from or can tell me how to make one up myself it needs to be able to fit the radio (8 pin modular) plug so i can use a (4 pin normal round) uniden microphone,

If its putting the RJ45 plug on thats putting you of George, chop the end off an old ethernet cable and wire that up to you 4 pin socket.

I've done what the Cookie raider has done and used the end of an old Ethernet cable and wired up to my favourite CB radio wiring combo. Also useful to use the end of the network cable by soldering it directly to the end of a mic lead and carefully wrap around with insulation tape.
