Hi all can everyone add the make and model numbers of Chinese handhelds that can be programmed for pmr446,only add ones that are 100% confirmed to program on pmr446 thanks

Only got one handheld, and that's my Puxing D03... that does PMR 446. (came programmed 443 though).

I use PX777s on PMR, the only thing you have to watch is that if you use them alongside "ordinary" PMR sets, the PX777 has 50 CTCSS tones and the numbers do not correspond with the 36 on a standard set. They do provide a list of the tones available on the set so you can work out a conversion chart!

I have been using a uv3r to listen on. It's overkill though, and not in the right areas. What it actually needs to do it's not great at.

edit: overkill for 446 as its a duel band set, and poor as the channel number is absolutly tiny and the channel change becomes the volume through a menu system. It's not instantly available for tweeking the volume. It's Channel change instead. Moving between environments of differing volumes is not as easy as it could be. Nor is turning it down quickly to save embarisment lol
